Our Story

St. Johns Woodworks has been a cornerstone of the Liberty community for over eight decades. Founded by Earl St. John, who opened a woodshop off Liberty Square in the 1940s, the business grew and eventually relocated to Dains Street — the same building we operate from today.

After Earl, his daughter Shirley inherited not only the business but also the passion for helping neighbors and community with their woodworking needs. That same dedication to quality and personal service carries on with every project we take on.

We are a family-owned and operated shop staffed by skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work. Whether you need an antique restored ora completely custom piece built from scratch, we treat every job with care and attention to detail.
